The Indian home décor market is expected
to garner $6 billion by 2020. Eyeing this, Asian Paints – India’s largest… paints corporation, launched “AP homes,”
its first multi-category home improvement… store, to provide consumers comprehensive home
decor solutions under one roof. Asian Paints aimed to create awareness about
AP Homes and its product offerings among consumers… in Raipur and Coimbatore. The brand aimed to precisely target prospective
customers and drive in-store footfall. To achieve this, the brand leveraged “Polygon
mapping” technology in combination with… an interactive rich-media creative. The polygon mapping technology, created dynamic
cohorts of consumers who had visited places… of interest (POI) in the cities such as high
streets and malls in the last 60 days. The dynamic cohort was updated with users
who visited an AP Home store in the last 7 days. Asian Paints delivered an interactive, rich
media experience to the dynamic cohort. The ad experience, consisting of a video and
carousel, allowed consumers… to not just understand… and explore the offerings from AP Homes… users could also get a sneak peek into the
complete in-store experience, while being… directed to their nearest AP Homes store. The campaign drove the desired results for
Asian Paints. In just two months, the brand reached over
300 thousand unique users… with 1.6 million impressions! The innovative creative delivered 2X higher
engagement than average and drove 1.99 times… the daily store visits with over 3300 visitors.
