Customizable Paper Mache Deer Head DIY Wall Decor

Today we’re gonna show you how to make this customizable deer head. We got the paper mache sculpted to your head from Michaels- I’m sure you could find these at your local craft store- Mod Podge, scrapbooking paper, paint and a couple of brushes. I chose gold acrylic paint for the antlers I’m trimming the paper to fit the shape I’m starting by layering a thick coat of Mod Podge over the deer face I’m brushing more Mod Podge over the scrapbooking paper to allow for better sculpting And you’ll go in with the remaining scrapbook paper that you’ve got and fill in any patches And we won’t worry about getting the Mod Podge on the place where we already painted because it will dry clear This stuff is magic Let dry So we are just about done here There’s just a couple areas- this just was paper ‘macheed’ with the Mod Podge -some of the scrapbooking paper So we’ll just cover that over with the paint Alien hands Not as good as Elmer’s We decided to embellish with fake flowers- again, fully customizable. You can glue on whatever you want! Is it better if it’s made or bought? I like made. If you’re good at making it! If you’re good at making it, then I like made! If it comes out like shit, then I like bought! Well do you prefer homemade toilet paper bought toilet paper? I’m like wait, what? There’s homemade? I’d just go pick leaves. Hey, that ain’t a bad idea with the price of toilet paper. I’m just sayin!
