Hi, I’m Jillian and I love to create and make things my own. Today I’m going to be showing you easy ways to update your space with decor pieces from Studio Decor at Michaels. Whether it’s that empty corner in the kitchen or the entryway table in your home, there’s something for everyone. Let’s start with the kitchen. Now instead
of just using appliances to decorate the spaces in your kitchen, how about this lovely decor piece? What I love about it is the chicken wire in the back that allows you to clip photos or maybe grocery lists and the
cubbies in the bottom to put some of my items. I really love to bake so I keep sprinkles on hand at all times. This recipe holder has the perfect vintage touch to hold my grandmother’s cookie recipe. I like to mix rustic with industrial so these marquee letters fit perfectly in my kitchen. Now how about the entryway? Everyone loves family photos so we’ve done something really
interesting here. We used a picture of mom and dad and connected them with an ampersand marquee letter. Another way to create a really beautiful statement in your entryway is to add a little bit of height. Typically this window pane frame would be hung on the wall but we’ve added photos in sepia tone
and we just propped it up against the wall. Don’t even have to worry about having a
straight picture. So whether you’re updating in that corner of your kitchen or the space in your entryway, Studio Decor has something for everyone. From old to new, from rustic to industrial, there’s different colors and textures to
fit your home.
