How to Draw a Peacock With Color Pencils – Drawing Feathers and Birds

Hello my friends and welcome
to another Tuesday of tutorial. I am Leonardo Pereznieto and today
we are going to draw, a peacock. We begin by sketching the head
and the neck. And little by little we do more detail,
like the feathers on the head and the eye. With color pencils we start doing
it´s majestic plumage. The list of materials is in the information
bellow the video. The shadows and the dark feathers on
the head and neck, we can do them with a dark blue. Generally speaking I like doing the eye
early on, because it gives a lot of personality, to our character. That little white sparkle,
is important! We mix some medium blue,
light blue and greenish blue to achieve the gamma of tones. I place some more lights
and dark tones to the eye to give it more volume. Good! And with the dark blue
we can delineate and give some accent, to the feathers. The beak is of a gray color. We can give it some lights
the white and the little hole with black. We continue working on the
feathers in this way. I like it how it is coming! By the way, I want you to know
that I really appreciate, you taking the time to watch these tutorials…
This channel would be nothing without you, and the rest of art lovers. In the same way than the head
we do the neck, using tones of blue to achieve different tints. The feathers in the center of the tail
are of a yellowish green. We can mix in the colors more
or less like this. Now, let´s do some of the
characteristic spots of the peacock. These have different colors
like green, blue, orange and black. Very well! They have more or less
an oval shape and they, of course, follow the direction of the feathers. We should give it more detail
as if they were a sort of hair, soft hair. The background of this drawing
will be the green of the tail itself. Let´s give it some texture! On this background we delineated
the main feathers. This is really fun! We do the rest of it, in the same manner. Let´s give it the last touches
and it will be ready! If you enjoyed it, please give it
a LIKE, share it to your friends and subscribe to Fine Art-Tips. And I will see you,
