My name is Jacquie Comrie. I am a mural artist and I produce very large-scale, colourful works of art here in Canada and around the world. My inspiration was really just to revitalize the space into a colourful, vibrant, mindful space. I really just wanted to transform it, so that people who are in transit or walking are uplifted. I want them to feel uplifted. They get to see colour! I think there’s a lot going on in the world right now, and we need to be uplifted. The mural is really a reflection of the multiculturalism and diversity of the community and Toronto at large. The colours really represent humankind. We’re all different colours, different tones and so is a spectrum of colour.
