Hello everybody I am Mustafa Soby and i am
here with my friends Anthony, Maher and Mohamed Hussein. We designed our artisan aquifer on
a game based on creating things, better known as Minecraft. So lets show you around our
project. Over here we have the recharge area. The recharge area is where the rain water
and melted snow from high hills or small mountains collects. The water in the recharge area infiltrates
the earth and begins to flow toward a lower area in the earth. However the aquiclude below
stops water from flowing all the way down. The resulting pressure cause the water to
squirt out water very strongly. To stop that we put a plug that stops the water from flowing
out, this plug is also a filter. So we have a house in the distance over here that has
a series of pipes leading to it, that has the well water running through it. There is
a sewwwage pipe, that leads the back water to the recharge area, a graphene filter is
the perfect type of filter to have there because water is the only thing that goes through graphene.
Although graphene is still in development in the future we may be able to use these
filters in many recharge areas. So you can see another one of those graphene filters
over here and this the one we were taking about and this is where the house draws its
water from and thank you so much for watching our presentation.
