in this video by ABN Painting we are spray painting a stucco wall and this is the look of the wall before we started. We move the gravel a few inches away from the wall. We pressure washed it a couple of days prior together with the house and we continue our preparation work by scraping any loose paint by hand using a putty knife We’re using elastomeric patch to fill any hairline cracks and we apply it with a mini roller. For any medium size cracks we used latex caulk. We used green tape to mask off decorated brick and the combination of green tape and 12-inch masking paper to mask off the side gate. This is the look of the wall just before spray painting. We start spray painting from one side and then go all the way around. The house and the wall are the same color and we are spray painting them at the same time so we do not worry about overspray on the house. On the other side of the wall or we covered concrete with paper and AC unit with tarp so when we spray paint the top portion of the wall overspray is not something that we have to worry about. When we are finished with the first coat we go back to where we started and apply the second coat of paint. We used paper to cover the wall that belongs to the neighbor and we also run a paper along the bottom of the wall to cover the grass from over pray. After we are finished with spray painting we move the gravel back. After we’re done with cleanup and touch-ups this is the look of the wall.
