Thinking Putty- Heat Sensitive Putty Review | EpicReviewGuys in 4k CC

Parris: Hi, it’s Parris from Epic Review Guys here with my official putty testing assistant. Today we’ve got a Chameleon in a can. Well actually, it’s crazier and thinking putty, Chameleon heat-sensitive putty. It’s a lush tropical green until you touch it and the it turns bright yellow. [intro] Parris: This is another of the great crazy’s Aarons thinking putty. This one’s called the Chameleon and it’s heat-sensitive. That means when you touch it your body heat causes it to change color. It goes from a tropical green to a bright yellow just like a chameleon. And notice color of the can sort of matches both of us today. We’re being chameleon’s as well. Let’s open this up and see what it looks like. Roxanna: Oh wow. Parris: Oh, you got it open, wow, that is a bright, bright green. We’re going to have to dig this out. You work on that half I’ll work on this half, okay? Roxanna: Do it from when it’s, when it’s coming out, from this part. Parris: Okay. Roxanna: You can get a good grip on it. There, see. Easy. Parris: Well here, you can do that side. Roxanna: Okay. Parris: Not seeing any color change. Is it because it’s so warm in here? Uhm. Roxanna: There you go. Parris: Nice work. Ximena: see, not so hard. Parris: Nice work. Here, there’s your reward. Ximena: ha, ha. Parris: Maybe it’s got a, we’ve got to soften it up some, with some kneading. Ximena: see. Parris: Oh yeah, you get it thin enough. I’m not seeing the color change in this unless it’s so subtle that I’m missing it. It could also be that we’re here in Central Texas, it’s July, it’s fairly warm. We have the AC sets for like 77 so, we might need to have this a little colder for it to have that strong reaction to our touch. They do recommend in the package here, a little trick you can do is to take half of your putty, roll it out so it’s like a snake. Put it in the freezer, for a minute, and then keep the other half here rolled out like a snake. Bring the other one back and then when you twist them together you’ll be able to see the color difference. Maybe we’ll try that. So, I’ve taken my half of the Chameleon putty and put it in the freezer in a long snake form and she’s got the other half of it here, trying to get lots of contact with it so it will be warmer and then we’ll be able to see the difference in the color. Ximena: now it’s too long. Parris: Well fold it, and half it and put it back. It really does match your shirt very nicely. It’s just like a Chameleon. Ximena: can you see? Parris: Oh my gosh it disappears when she does that. Now, I see you found a way to get the color change to really happen, okay. Warm it up some more and then let us have a look? It really does change it pretty quickly by using your breath. Yeah. Much yellower now. Ximena: wow. Parris: Okay, I just ran back from the freezer and wow, it turned a dark green in the freezer. I don’t want to hold it anymore, and then you can see your color of the, the yellowish color and we’re going to put them together here- Ximena: can i? Parris: -and do the twist. Sure. Ximena: wow, that is cold. like it freezes my fingers. Parris: Yeah, that was just a couple of minutes in the freezer. Yeah, you can really see the difference now so, this kind of cool. And they said you do this, set it down and watch it, and within five minutes it’s all the same color again. So, we’ll check back in a couple of minutes see if it’s all turned the same. It’s been two minutes, getting close to being the same color. Now, I left mine sitting here on the desk with fan on it and you’ve been playing with yours. Look at the difference in the color? I think it’s temperature-sensitive from, I don’t know, maybe 50-90 degrees. So, I think if you go more than 90 Fahrenheit I don’t think it really gets any brighter yellow, and if you get colder than 50, my guess is it doesn’t get any darker green. They want it to change temperature in the normal human range of experience, like what it would be a normal room versus your hands so, I think those ranges are where you get the temperature change. But, it was fun, didn’t you think? Ximena: yeah. Parris: We like this putty. This one goes for about $10, at least the last I checked, and I’ll put a link down below this video if you’d like to check it out online. It’s a little cheaper than the UV sensitive or the magnetic putty. Doesn’t do quite as much as those, but it’s also cheaper. And I have a couple of other pieces of business to take care of. One is we missed one entry. Twitter did something weird and we did not receive this entry so, I did want to just show that and we will add it to our wall of epic. And in other, other news we’re running a Twitter campaign right now trying to get more Twitter followers and we said when we got to 300 followers we would give away a Snackeez. And the same when we get to 400 and 500, when we hit those milestones we’ll pick one follower and give that away. So, we hit 300 pretty fast after we announced this on our video yesterday. We’re actually at the 350 right now so, yeah I know it’s great. Thanks so much. So, I went out and got three Snackeez, some different colors here. Now, we’re going to pick one number and then I will look through. I have all 350 here on the screen, but Twitter doesn’t let you make that nice little list so I have to scroll through the whole list of people, but we will go in, see who that person is with that number and I’ll contact you. If you’re a kid, make sure it’s okay with your parent, and when we will get your address then you can pick which of these Snackeez you’d like. Now, some people in our wobble bubble give-away video were complaining they didn’t like our random number generator on my phone. They think it always goes to the same number or something so I’ve got a different random number generator here. Let me program in here from 1 to 350 and I’m going to shake my random number generator here. I’m stop shaking, we’ve got a random number. Are you ready? Ximena: yes. Parris: Let those marbles all run, and run, and run, go around, then stop. What number? Ximena: 56. Parris: What? Ximena: 56. Parris: 56. Let’s see who it is. So, I scroll through the list and we found our number 56 Twitter follower. It is Powla Parez. You have won a Snackeez. We’re going to get in touch with you on Twitter and if it’s okay with your parents get us your address and you can pick the color that you like. We’ll get it in the mail to you. So, congratulations to Powla, and if you didn’t win a Snackeez tonight, keep in mind we’ll be giving another one away at 400 followers and then again at 500 followers. If you haven’t followed us on Twitter yet, we’re there at EpicReviewGuys, no dots, spaces or dashes. And for tomorrow and Sunday our Japanese Candy Kit video; the last few weekends we’ve been doing eraser kits which aren’t so edible. Well, tomorrow we’re back to eating our creations so, be sure to check for that. And if you haven’t subscribed to our U-Tube channel yet, now is a good time. Come join the tribe.
