Tie-Dye Wall Art

Tie-Dye Wall Art

Here’s a way to add lot’s of
color to a room with tye-dyed art, let me show
you how we did it. (music) Here’s what you’ll need, a
bottle of Tulip One-Step Dye
with the gloves and the rubber bands, and
Aleenes Peel-N-Stick tape and the rubber bands, and
Aleenes Peel-N-Stick tape a pair of scissors, and of
course your hula-hoop and
fabric to cover it. Wearing gloves add water to the
dye, filling it all the way up to the line. Now
replace the cap and shake until
it’s all dissolved. Now you are ready to dye your
project. Grab the center of the
fabric and gather it to a point. Now bind
it really tight with rubber
bands. Then squeeze the dye between
the rubber bands. So that the white stays white.
Cover it with plastic and wait 7 to 8 hours. Place it
in the washing machine and rinse it and you’re ready to
cut off the rubber bands. (music continues) I’m gonna throw it in the dryer
now and then I’m gonna iron it
for the next step. (music) Now you are ready to cover the
hula-hoop. Cut off the corners
of the fabric And then apply Aleenes
Peel-N-Stick And then apply Aleenes Fabric
Fusion Peel-N-Stick tape to the
hoop. Adhere the fabric all the way
around. You’ll want to make
lot’s of hoops with your friends! 🙂
